The Legislature, voting remotely, passed a long list of legislation (many of which have been signed by Gov. Phil Murphy) to help New Jersey cope with the coronavirus pandemic.

Jon Hurdle of NJ Spotlight looked at some of the initiatives and the reasons behind them.

He reported that NJBIA welcomed the Legislature’s recognition that small businesses need help.

“New Jersey needs to be prepared to bounce back from this unprecedented time. Ensuring that our businesses have the necessary resources to stay afloat as we endure this crisis together will ultimately be an essential step in our recovery,” the association said.
