On November 29, we held an Education & Workforce Development Policy Committee meeting at the Junior Achievement Headquarters.

Acting DOE Commissioner Kimberley Harrington gave a presentation on the importance of student-focused education goals that contextualize learning and provide opportunities for multiple pathways to successful careers.

NJBIA members present at the committee meeting were engaged in a focus group discussion to answer the question – What Makes Schools Successful”.  These comments are summarized and included in the Accountability Report.

Diana Pasculli of DOE, made a presentation on “Every Student Succeeds Act”.  Her presentation can be reviewed here.
