NJBIA strongly opposed legislation that could result in 300 municipalities, encompassing 4.5 million residents, being designated as overburdened because it would deny them economic growth opportunities.
“This bill would greatly impact major manufacturers in this state, both existing and those who may have been willing to locate here,” NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Ray Cantor said in testimony before the Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee this week. “This bill closes the door to them.”
