Andrew Musick, a member of the Government Affairs team at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), the nation’s largest state employer association with 20,000 members employing more than one million workers, has been promoted to Vice President. This promotion takes effect immediately.
Andrew is NJBIA’s lead advocate on taxation, economic development and education issues.
Andrew was instrumental in NJBIA’s work last year on the “comprehensive tax reform package” as well as fending off bills on corporate inversions and fighting for the rights of our members who are entitled to their already-earned BEIP grants. Recently, Andrew was recognized by Observer New Jersey Politics as one of the “30 Under 30:” Political Up-and-Comers in New Jersey.
Andrew is a native of Mercer County who received both his MA in Public Policy and BA in Political Science from Monmouth University.
“This promotion is very well deserved” said Chief Government Affairs Officer Melanie Willoughby. “Andrew has been a very effective lobbyist especially on taxation and economic development issues, which are extremely important to our members and a key aspect of ensuring that New Jersey is able to maintain a positive business climate.”
