Dear Member:

I’m reaching out to you today with some new information and reminders about financial assistance currently available to you.

As you may know, NJEDA’s Small Business Emergency Loan Program will be available to apply for this coming Monday, April 13 at 9 a.m.

This is a $10 million program that will provide working no-to-low interest capital loans of up to $100,000 to businesses with less than $5 million in revenues.

A .pdf version of the application is now available here. This will give you the opportunity to best prepare your application and submit as quickly as possible.

For those of you had intended to apply for NJEDA’s Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program but did not yet because it’s oversubscribed, we still encourage you submit an application before this Friday’s deadline in the event there is future funding for the program.

And don’t forget, NJEDA also has its COVID-19 Emergency Support Eligibility Wizard here to see what your business can qualify for.

NJDOL Update

On Monday, we were honored to have NJDOL Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo participate in an NJBIA webinar to answer your various questions on COVID-19 Unemployment Programs.

If you missed it, you can catch the entire webinar here, or a summary of the discussion here. Any questions that were submitted during the webcast and not responded to in time have been forwarded to NJDOL for further response.

Additionally, NJDOL has expanded its FAQ document, which covers a lot of ground. Please give it a look here.

Webinar Update

NJBIA continues to bring you more opportunities to discuss and inquire about multiple assistance programs available to business owners.

Please see the following programs available to you this week:

Additionally, downloads of all of our past COVID-19 Webinars can be found here. And of course, we are still adding to our Coronavirus Resource Page for your convenience.

Please remember NJBIA will continue to provide our resources to you in this time of great need and we still invite you to contact us from our resource page for any questions you may have.

Stay well,

Michele N. Siekerka, Esq.
