Mobile Users Can Text WATER to 20222 to Make a $10 Donation for Newark Water Lead Relief Efforts
AT&T announced the launch of a text-to-give campaign to benefit Newark residents affected by lead service lines. *Donations collected during the giving campaign will be directed to the United Way of Essex & West Hudson to purchase bottled water for residents.
AT&T’s launch of the Newark water lead Text-to-Give campaign is open to include wireless customers of Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular as well. All text-to-give donations are one-time gifts and added to a customer’s monthly wireless bill.
Simply text WATER to 20222 to make a $10 donation to the United Way of Essex & West Hudson. When prompted, reply YES to confirm the donation.
