Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick is a personal injury lawyer, and he is concerned about a flood of lawsuits that could come from COVID-19, writes Tom Bergeron of ROI-NJ. He then laid out the argument for protecting businesses owners from such legal liability.

The long-time New Jersey business reporter and editor of the online news site tuned into Wednesday town hall featuring Bramnick and Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean Jr. sponsored by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey Business & Industry Association.

“I run a law office with 50 people,” Bramnick said. “I can tell you that no one knows how to handle this. So, therefore, we should definitely have legislation that limits cases.”
