Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey is seeking volunteers to advocate for more than 8,000 children placed in New Jersey’s foster care system as a result of abuse or neglect.

CASA advocates get to know the child to whom they are assigned by Family Court judges and provide “best interest” recommendations regarding needed services and permanent homes. These advocacy services are critical to each child’s safety and well-being. Children served by CASA are more likely to succeed in school, spend less time in foster care, and reach safe, permanent homes more quickly.

Caring adults who are interested in volunteering can find out more information at casaforchildrennj.org. New Jersey’s children in foster care need you by their side today!
