Coronavirus, Friday Update: March 27, 2020
It’s the end of another challenging week for many in the New Jersey’s business community, although we had some very good news yesterday on the grant, loan and support programs that NJEDA is making available for coronavirus-impacted businesses and non-profits.
We anticipate the application process to start next week. And I cannot reiterate enough the need for those applying to start gathering all necessary evidence of cash flow and income over the past year to support your application. Please do not wait. Get ready now!
Here are some other notes to know on this Follow-up Friday:
Executive Order 109 – PPE Inventory Reporting
This week, Governor Murphy signed Executive Order No. 109. It requires any business, non-hospital health care facility, or institution of higher learning who are in possession of personal protective equipment (PPE), ventilators, respirators, or anesthesia machines not required for the provision of critical health care services to undertake an inventory of these supplies and send the information to the state by 5 p.m. TODAY.
The State has posted guidance on how and where to report your PPE inventory here.
