Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

There’s no rest for the weary during budget break.

On Tuesday, April 18, a joint meeting of the Senate Environment & Energy Committee and the Assembly Environment & Solid Waste Committee will take place in Lyndhurst at 10 a.m. to take testimony on actions taken by corporations to avoid their Superfund obligations in New Jersey through federal bankruptcy proceedings. Both SR 107 (Bateman, Smith) and AR 219 (Eustace) will be considered.

The DEP has proposed several regulations over the past few weeks. NJBIA is seeking feedback from our members on:

Ground Water Quality Standards, N.J.A.C. 7:9C-1.7 and Appendix Table 1; Discharges of Petroleum and Other Hazardous Substances Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:1E Appendix A

Air Pollution Control, N.J.A.C. 7:27 Fine Particles (PM2.5) in Air Permitting, Sulfur (Startup/Shutdown/Malfunction (SSM) Exemption), and Emission Statements

Safe Drinking Water Act Rules, N.J.A.C. 7:10

Regulations Governing the Certification of Laboratories, N.J.A.C. 7:18

If you have any specific comments or concerns, please email Sara by April 28.
