Congratulations to NJBIA member Unilever for making the top 10 in Forbes magazine’s Best Employers for Women list.
Unilever of Englewood Cliffs ranked No. 6 out of all businesses in America as a place where women say they want to work.
Forbes said it teamed up with Statista, a market research company, to identify the companies that female workers like most. It surveyed 60,000 workers, 40,000 of whom were women, at companies in America with at least 1,000 employees.
“Women have made undeniable strides toward workplace equality in recent years,” the magazine’s website states. “But while they account for 56% of college students and 48% of entry-level positions, they still make up just 23% of the C-suite. It would seem that for every step forward, much of corporate America has lagged behind. Thankfully, some organizations are doing better to keep pace.”
