Congratulations to Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli, two strong candidates with impressive records of public service, who will now go head-to-head in the race for Governor. This will be the first time they are sharing the same stage after their primary victories to deliver remarks to New Jersey’s business community, continuing the longstanding tradition of NJBIA’s Employer Legislative Committee (ELC) Reception.
During the reception, each candidate will discuss their legislative priorities, as well as policies impacting New Jersey’s business community.
The ELCs are independent local business organizations representing all 21 counties. Nearly all governors and legislators have addressed their county ELCs, and many legislators participate regularly each year.

In the past, the ELC dinner has brought out hundreds of business people, legislators, cabinet officials, and NJBIA members, making it a great networking opportunity.
