Energy & Decarbonization: A Business Perspective

The Global Warming Response Act has set a goal of an 80% reduction of greenhouse gases by 2050. The Murphy Administration’s Energy Master Plan has established a policy of being 100% clean energy (net-zero carbon emissions) by that date. Are these goals feasible or desirable given technology, cost, and reliability considerations? Are there other options we should be considering? NJBIA has brought together some of the nation’s leading experts in the energy field as well as the State’s key policy and business leaders who will drive our energy decisions over the next three decades. This conference will help shape the business community’s policy response to the clean energy debate.
