As employee benefit consultants, we see a myriad of compliance questions that arise in day-to-day benefit administration. There are some issues that always seem to be a pain point for most employer groups.

Join us on Friday, October 21 as Vlad St. Phard, Chief Executive Officer & President at Customized Benefit Solutions, as we answer some of the most popular questions such as:

• Can an employer offer different benefits to different classes of employees?
• Can an employer contribute different amounts to employees’ Health Savings Account (HSA)s?
• Can an employee have other non-high deductible health plan (HDHP) coverage with their HSA?
• If the employee has a change in status, can he/she make a mid-year change?

This meeting will include an open Q&A.

Councils are free to members. If you are a future-member you will be invoiced $19 upon registration.

By joining our Human Resource Council, you get to connect with professionals from many different business backgrounds who share an interest in staying informed and engaged on emerging issues that create opportunities for business success. All of our councils are open to members and future-members.

Our Presenter

Vladimir St. Phard Vladimir St. Phard Chief Executive Officer & President, Customized Benefit Solutions

Vladimir (Vlad), began his insurance career as an account executive with Oxford Health Plans in 1995.  As he learned more about the benefits market, Vlad began to notice a disturbing trend among brokers: the tendency to deliver the same, cookie cutter, benefits options regardless of clients’ individual needs.  Believing each business to be unique, Vlad founded Customized Benefit Solutions (CBSI) in 1998 to offer companies customized, cost-effective solutions to match their benefits needs and business objectives.

Vlad highly values helping employers understand how to use their benefits as a tool to engage employees. An engaged employee is highly productive, dedicated and overall happier employee.

He is a current Trenton Rotarian with current and/or previous Board seats and membership in The NY/NJ Minority Business Council, Word in Action Ministries, Catholic Charities of Mercer and Monmouth Counties, He is a former 2 time President of The Executives Association of New Jersey (EANJ). One of the region’s premier networking organizations. Its members are a highly qualified group of industry-leading companies doing business in The Garden State and beyond.

Vladimir stands firmly alongside his wife as a Board Member of Be The Li9ht Center BeTheLi9ht Foundation. The foundation’s true goal is on the mental wellbeing of all youth.

Vlad has frequently given presentations on employee benefits and Healthcare Reform for organizations such as SHRM and NJSCPA as well as for CBSI’s clients and CBSI’s strategic partners and their clients.

He is passionate about youth sports and has coached travel soccer and basketball.  He loves how team sports teach you so much about life.  He also really enjoys watching MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), live and on TV.

Vlad is also a “foodie” and loves finding new and different creations or any new place for buffalo wings. Or an amazing air fryer recipe!

Vlad enjoys mission work and traveled to Brazil and Exuma (Bahamas).  He hopes to do missions in Haiti one day, his native country.

Vlad currently resides in East Windsor, NJ with his wife Rachelle and singer songwriter daughter Kyler.
