An NJBIA HR Program

With the changes that have occurred to Leave Laws in the past three years, employees can now be out up to 24 weeks WITH pay if they know how to manage it.

We will address how to manage employee leave entitlement under State and Federal Law and discuss the points where the two overlap. We will look at FMLA and NJFLA as well as provide an overview of Temporary Disability and NJFLI. We will look at the Best Practices in policy and provide an understanding of the differences between “leave laws” and “wage replacement laws”. We will discuss the financial and budgetary impacts and the maintenance of benefits during the leave. And finally, we will review how to restore the employee, considering any limitations they may have upon return.

Paid or Unpaid, Job protected eave or Job Accommodation, NJFLA or FMLA, NJ SAFE ACT, ADA or NJ Sick Leave – the list can make YOU sick!

Join us Friday, Feb 23rd, at 9:00am for a virtual meeting with Judy Sailer, SHRM CP, PHR – Director of Learning & Development, Primepoint HRMS & Payroll, to hear the rules, tips and more on this important topic.
