Presented by the Nonprofit Council
Sixty-eight percent of nonprofits have experienced a data breach in the past three years. That’s a staggering number—and a clear reminder that no organization is too small to be a target.
If your team is already stretched thin, managing technology risks can feel overwhelming. But with the right approach, you can put guardrails in place that protect your organization—without needing a big team or budget.
Join us for the May Nonprofit Council meeting, where Georg Dauterman of Valiant Technology will share practical ways to build, maintain, and improve your nonprofit’s technology risk management and governance program.
During the 60-minute session, you’ll learn:
- How to get started—even with a small team or limited tools
- Who to involve and how to divide roles
- Tips for working with boards, auditors, and vendors
- How to improve what you already have without starting from scratch
Who Should Attend?
- Nonprofit decision makers responsible for IT, operations, or compliance
- Marketing or fundraising staff who handle donor data or digital tools
- Anyone looking for practical advice to manage tech risks on a lean team
