DIY Nonprofit Strategic Plan
How To Do It, and When Not To

Presented by the Nonprofit Council

Your strategic plan is a blueprint. A Road Map. A Recipe. An instruction manual you write, often while flying the plane. This session will explore how to engage in a DIY successful strategic planning process, when to bring in help, and how to actually achieve your strategic goals, not just occasionally, but regularly.

Join us on November 17th at 12pm for the November Nonprofit Council, where we’ll talk about how you can develop a strong strategic plan yourself, where and if outside expertise may fit into the process, and how to keep your goals on track once the plan is in place.

Learn how to:

  • Set SMART goals based on your nonprofit’s needs, capacity, and stakeholder input
  • Build a strategy for achieving those goals and create support among the people involved
  • Measure progress and success during implementation and after the planning process

Who Should Attend?

  • Nonprofit leaders
  • Anyone responsible for strategic planning
