New Jersey guarantees pregnant women and new mothers some of the most expansive rights and benefits found throughout the United States. As such, it is important for New Jersey business owners to be aware of the duties that they owe to this segment of their workforce, and to ensure that their workplace policies are consistent with the applicable laws. This is not always a straight-forward task.
