Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

The NJ Work Environment Council (WEC) has received an OSHA Susan Harwood grant that enables WEC to provide free onsite training on Preventing Exposure to Workplace Chemicals.

Employers have a responsibility under OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HazCom) to educate and train employees about the chemicals they work with and how to protect themselves from any potential hazards. WEC’s participatory training introduces employers and their workers to OSHA’s HazCom standard and how it is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.  Depending on the amount of time allotted for training, WEC can also include tops such as Hazard Mapping, Intro to Systems of Safety and Accident Investigation, and Effective Health & Safety Committees.

You are invited to attend a free webinar, Introduction to OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, at noon on Tuesday, January 30.

For more information on WEC’s free training, upcoming webinar, or to schedule an onsite workshop, contact WEC’s Project Director Cecelia Leto at 609-882-6100 ext. 308, or by email cgilliganleto@njwec.org.
