The Newark Regional Business Partnership is hosting a free online event Wednesday to provide entrepreneurs with in-depth information about the requirements for starting a cannabis business in New Jersey.

The 90-minute online program, “So, You’re Interested in Starting a Cannabis Business,” begins at 10 a.m. and will feature Industry and community leaders who will discuss how to get started, potential barriers, and the resources and information that entrepreneurs need.

Speakers include Faye Coleman, co-founder & CEO of Pure Genesis; Edmund DeVeaux, president of the NJ CannaBusiness Association; Vivian Fraser, president & CEO, of the Urban League of Essex County; and Daniel T. McKillop, Esq., a partner and chair of the cannabis law practice at Scarinci Hollenbeck.

The event is presented by the Newark Regional Business Partnership, along with the Urban League of Essex County and the New Jersey CannaBusiness Association. To register for this virtual event on the Zoom platform, go here.
