The U.S. Senate cannot make up its mind on what to do on healthcare reform. According to Gallup, the American people aren’t so sure, either. A poll conducted last week found that 44 percent want to keep the Affordable Care Act but make changes to it, 30 percent want to repeal and replace it with a different plan, and 23 percent want to leave it as is.
“President Donald Trump has promised Americans a ‘beautiful’ healthcare bill, but Americans themselves have varying opinions on what such a bill should look like,” Gallup says. “No groundswell of support is emerging for any approach….”
We need to completely repeal the ACA and let the states and private insurance companies handle their own health care possibly with some help from the federal government. NO ONE in the USA went without health care prior to ACA. Any public hospital in America would provide care to those who had no coverage. What was the purpose of Medicare and Medicaid if not to provide care to those who had no other options for health care. How many plans do we need and at what cost to the American tax payer. We are headed down a very slippery slope with our economy.
All you need to do is look at the Socialist countries around the world to see where we are headed if we continue down this entailment path.
