NEWARK, Nov. 30, 2017 – The New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII), an NJIT Corporation, has been selected by the German-American Chamber of Commerce (Deutsch-Amerikanische Handelskammern) to host its Innovation Seminars 2017: Smart Cities with co-sponsor NJIT’s Albert Dorman Honors College Colloquium on the NJIT campus in Newark, Dec. 6, 2017.

The German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) fosters economic ties between Germany and the United States. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in New York, it now also operates branch offices in Philadelphia and California. The GACC New York offers a wide range of services to the Northeastern and Western states. Benefiting from its proximity to Silicon Valley, the California branch supports trendsetting industry sectors such as IT, biotechnology, renewable energies, semi-conductors and nanotechnology. In addition, members of the German Chamber Network represent 130 locations in 90 countries around the world offer their experience, connections and services to German and foreign companies.
