The Lincoln Foundation for Education will host its annual Golf for LiFE Scholarship Fundraiser on Oct. 12, giving participants the opportunity to enjoy a day on the course while supporting scholarships for future skilled trades professionals.

Sponsorships and proceeds from the event at the Black Bear Golf Club’s Crystal Springs Resort in Franklin will help fund scholarships that make post-secondary vocational education more accessible for students attending Lincoln Tech and other career and technical education institutions.

Golfers can expect an 18-hole shotgun start with a continental breakfast and buffet lunch, one complimentary drink, event scoring, as well as awards and prizes. Participants can also purchase entry into the putting and closest-to-the-pin contests, as well as mulligans and water rescues.

The Lincoln Foundation for Education is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to help students pursue post-secondary vocational education, reducing financial barriers while strengthening the skilled workforce.
