A new partnership of the Association of Environmental Authorities, American Water Works Association and Jersey Water Works is seeking nominations for the inaugural New Jersey One Water Awards, which will honor water infrastructure programs or projects that address water issues holistically.
The One Water Awards will be given in three categories – public, private and nonprofit/academics. The private category is open to investor-owned water utilities and other private sector firms and institutions. The awards are aimed to highlight programs or projects that exemplify integration across the water cycle with other community priorities, and also reflect collaboration, employ innovation and education and advance long-term sustainability.
Deadline for applications is Sept. 30.
