Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

Every two years, NJBIA celebrates the different Employers Legislative Committees (ELCs) that represent each of New Jersey’s 21 counties at the ELC dinner.  While NJBIA supports the local ELCs, they operate independently, run by local businesses as chairs and co-chairs who select the speakers and the topics to be discussed at meetings.

ELCs are NJBIA’s grassroots affiliates and have been for 60 years. They offer businesses the opportunity to meet with local legislators and public officials in small groups over breakfast and lunch and tell them how policies affect their companies and their ability to provide jobs.

“We know the ELCs do not exist without the dedication of the local businesses who run them in each of your communities,” NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka said.

“You are a testament to how we get things done at the local level,” she said.
