Cedar Knolls, N.J., April 23, 2018 – The Annual Awards Luncheon, hosted by Newmark Associates, CRE, on April 19th at H2Ocean Restaurant, honored each team members contribution and the professionalism of team leaders, awarding several men and women for outstanding, personal and professional achievements; as well as celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary.

At a time in history when there appears to be an erosion of integrity and values in American business, Newmark Associates CRE stands apart from the crowd: “Acknowledgement is a characteristic of our work culture, and is the word for today’s celebration,” remarked Nancy Glick, Chief Operating Officer.  “Integrity,” “accountability,” “professionalism,” “respectfulness,” “excellence in communication,” and “masterful leadership” were included in the “People’s Choice Awards” (Peer Awards) and were awarded to team members who consistently exhibited such characteristics in their work with clients and colleagues.

Awards given for Productivity and Performance were categorized according to the Top Retail, Office and Industrial Sales and Lease transactions; as well as for the firm’s Top Producers.  In the Retail category, Doug Greenberger and Charles Ritschel ranked first in sales and lease deals respectively; in the Office category, Linda Cho, Helene Elbaum, and David Bieber partnered on a transaction in the place for top sales, while Debbie Meyers earned the award for the top office lease.  In the Industrial category, Allan Settlow and Bill Cunningham earned awards for top sales and lease transactions respectively.

Overall, the Top Producers were Nancy Stanton-Tuckman in first place with a net aggregate of $47 million in transactions; and Helene Elbaum and Debbie Myers tied for second place each with a net aggregate of $15 million plus.

A unique award for taking outstanding initiative resulting in rapid professional and personal growth — defined as The Rising Star Award — was conferred upon two associates who recently joined the Newmark team in the last year, Linda Cho and Jay Zeitchik.

As additional incentives to supporting the team’s professional and personal development, scholarships to key self-transformation programs in leadership, communication and high performance are being offered to any associates by an outside vendor according to Ms. Glick, who was described by Susanne Newmark as “a partner in transformation, whose vision and perspective are a gift.”

Ms. Newmark acknowledged the firm’s Team Leaders, Marcello Adinolfi, David Bieber, Judy Feldman, and Debbie Myers with an opening statement: “The way you do one thing is the way you do everything, creating a standard of excellence that is to be admired,” emphasizing  mastery, , generosity, trust and high integrity as among the components of that standard of excellence.

The company was founded by Susanne Newmark, who was acknowledged by all present at the luncheon, most notably for her commitment to excellence in her work, her life beyond work and with her colleagues and clients alike.
