Businesses and other organizations interested in learning more about how reducing waste, recycling, and buying recycled products can help their bottom line are invited to the next online meeting of the New Jersey WasteWise Business Network. 

Registration is now open for this free online seminar, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5. Individuals who are New Jersey Certified Recycling Professionals can earn 1.5 recertification credits, split 50-50 between meeting and classroom credits.

  • Recycling Attitudes and Practices: A Behavioral Science Perspective – Maryam Shahri, Ph.D., Assistant Teaching Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Penn State University 
  • Recycling, Waste Reduction and Sustainability at Hikma Pharmaceuticals – Kris Wallace, Associate Director, Environmental, Health and Safety, Hikma Pharmaceuticals 

There will be a 10-minute question and answer period at the end of the program.
