The New Jersey Business & Industry Association today announced the pending retirements of two esteemed members of its executive team, as well as the promotions of several rising stars within the organization.
Chief Member Strategy Officer Betty Boros will retire at the end of June after an impactful and impressive 10 years with the association, while Chief Marketing and Technology Officer and New Jersey Business Magazine Publisher Vin Schweikert will step down in late August after a heralded and transformational 37-year-run with the publication and NJBIA.
“The contributions of both Vin Schweikert and Betty Boros to this organization cannot be understated,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka. “Both have been skilled executives and incredible leaders who have helped grow NJBIA and New Jersey Business Magazine in countless ways.
“With their respective talents in creating and sustaining partnerships, growing events and enhancing visibility amid an ever-changing business landscape, Vin and Betty leave their own unique legacies – as well as some big shoes to fill. We wish them the best in their well-earned retirements and extend our deepest gratitude for their dedicated and tireless years of service to this organization”
NJBIA is also announcing the following key promotions:
- Lisa Criscuolo to the position of Senior Director of Sales and New Jersey Business Magazine Publisher
- Mike Sanchez to the position of Senior Director of Marketing, Innovation and Creative Strategy
- Angeline Li to the position of Production and Digital Coordinator
Additionally, the association will also be hiring a Chief Strategy Officer in the near future.

We cannot wait to see them shine in their new roles which they’ve so richly earned.”
NJBIA also announced today that NJBIA Executive Wayne Staub will now serve in an expanded role as NJBIA’s Chief Member Experience Officer, while Joan Napolitano will also assume a new role as Director of Strategic Membership Operations
NJBIA Executive Bob Considine’s title expands as NJBIA Chief Communications and Media Officer.
