New Jersey Business & Industry Association President & CEO Michele Siekerka will serve as a panelist for a virtual roundtable convened by NJTV News and NJ Spotlight next week aimed at addressing the unprecedented economic challenges brought on by the COVID-19 crisis.
“Re-Inventing New Jersey’s Economy for the COVID-19 Age” is a free Zoom event that will take place on Tuesday, June 2 between 4-5 p.m.
Siekerka will join a panel that includes Tim Sullivan, CEO, New Jersey Economic Development Authority; Brandon McKoy, President & CEO, New Jersey Policy Perspective; and Christopher Geschickter, CCP, Head of Human Resources, Johnstone Supply.
Among the pressing questions discussed during the roundtable are:
- How must businesses adjust to accommodate COVID-induced changes to their basic models?
- How can people who have been laid off find paths to re-entering the workforce?
- How can social justice dimensions be addressed during an economic recovery?
- What policies can the state enact that will help ensure New Jersey’s economic recovery?
