NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business,” a weekly business show that airs on News 12+, has been named the recipient of two 2023 Telly Awards.

The Telly Awards, which have honored excellence in video and television across all screens since 1979, announced winners in all categories on Tuesday.

“Minding Your Business” was recognized for two awards in the General Information – Television category for an episode featuring a discussion on NJBIA’s Indicators of Innovation 2022 report with Director of Economic Policy Research Kyle Sullender.

The show also won in the General Information – Food & Beverage category for an episode featuring outdoorsman Thor Giese of “Thor’s Outdoor Science Academy” on a discussion of his series called “Table for 92,” where he uniquely cooks his way through the Periodic Table of Elements.

NJBIA Chief Communications Officer Bob Considine, who serves as host and executive producer of “Minding Your Business,” thanked the show’s sponsors – AT&T, Peapack-Gladstone Bank, New Jersey Business Magazine and NJ Pathways – for their continued support, News 12+ and all guests who have appeared on the show.

“Special thanks to our producer/director Vinnie Civitillo for all of his hard work week in and week out, and to NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka and CFO Alice Gens for continuing to give our show the opportunity to establish itself and grow,” Considine said.

NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” was launched in late 2020, mixing conversations with New Jersey business owners and leaders and regular discussions on New Jersey business policy featuring NJBIA’s Government Affairs team.

The show airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
