NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka is one of the 100 people Insider NJ thinks will come up with the ideas to address New Jersey’s biggest problems. The political news site’s list of the most talented policymakers ranked Siekerka 30th, calling her “the state’s leading expert on how government policy decisions impact the state’s business community.”
The list, released today, is described by editor Max Pizzaro as “the names of those 100 Garden State brains who will have to figure out how to piece together a blueprint to keep the (state) afloat.”
Insider NJ deliberately avoided politicians and political party operatives to focus on the “policy wonks.”
Check out the list here.
I have never seen a more ridiculous list in my life. Insider avoided politicians, but had no problem including former politicians, aides to current politicians, and former and current party operatives. If these “great minds” can cure the state, why is it still an overtaxed cesspool? Lastly, based on what I saw on page 1, shouldn’t emphasis be on hard working taxpayers trying to make ends meet instead of including illegal aliens? The whole list is one big PR farce. At the end of the day, these “great Minds” will propose solving all the state’s ills by continually increasing taxes on the majority and reducing other taxes fractionally “just to show they care”.
No one is being fooled by this charade.
