NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka and NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Christopher Emigholz have been named to Insider NJ’s 2022 100 Policymakers list, recognizing those who “engineer issues and ideas into laws, and the public province of vigorous discussion about the law.”
As the head of NJBIA, Siekerka leads the nation’s largest and most influential statewide employer association, advocating on behalf of New Jersey’s large and small businesses for policies that will make the Garden State more affordable and regionally competitive.
Insider NJ described her as “a leading voice in opposition to those policies detrimental to the state’s business community” during Gov. Murphy’s administration and placed her at No. 16 in its rankings of influential policymakers.
Emigholz, who is NJBIA’s expert on taxation and economic development issues, was also named to the 2021 Insider 100 Policymakers List at No. 80. Insider NJ hailed Emigholz for his “keen eye for state budget analysis.”
