Ralph A. Thomas, CPA (DC), CGMA, CEO and executive director of the New Jersey Society of CPAs

Ralph Albert Thomas, CPA (DC), CGMA, CEO and executive director of the New Jersey Society of CPAs, will be awarded the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey’s 2021 Business Award on Thursday evening. 

Each year, the AACCNJ recognizes distinguished African Americans who have attained   significant accomplishment in business, politics, education, sports and/or entertainment. The other 2021 honorees include Ralph Weaver, founder and CEO of West Connection; Alison Banks-Moore, chief diversity officer of Horizon BCBSNJ; and Jackie Joyner-Kersee, three-time Olympic gold medalist, silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist.   

“It is such an honor to be included with these noteworthy individuals,” Thomas said. “The AACCNJ continually reminds the community about the importance of African American contributions.”  

The 11th Annual Circle of Achievement Virtual Awards Gala is an online black-tie event on Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. The gala provides the platform, on behalf of AACCNJ members and the 80,000 Blackowned businesses in New Jersey, to continue to shine a spotlight on AACCNJ members and their businesses.
