PSE&G’s Clean Energy Future Energy Efficiency Program is offering enhanced incentives to help residential and business customers in 11 counties impacted by Tropical Storm Ida.

Residents in federally declared disaster areas who receive electric or gas service from PSE&G are eligible for an additional $200 for qualifying HVAC and water heating equipment and an additional $50 for qualifying refrigerators and clothes washers. Commercial and industrial customers are eligible for up to a 50% increase in existing incentives for qualifying equipment.

“We’re pleased to have this opportunity to assist our customers,” PSE&G Renewable and Energy Solutions Vice President Karen Reif said. “These incentives will help our customers recover in the near-term while encouraging the purchase of energy-efficient equipment that will provide economic and environmental benefits in the long-term.”

Customers in Bergen, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union counties are eligible to receive additional incentives to purchase qualifying energy-efficient equipment and appliances between Sept. 1 and Nov. 15, 2021.

Customers will be required to complete and submit a certification form to receive enhanced incentives on qualifying energy-efficient equipment and appliances purchased within this timeframe.
