NJBIA Board of Trustees member Nick Rafanello will be one of six people honored with the Morris County Lifetime Achievement Award by Scouting America Patriots’ Path Council on June 3.

The event will be held at Hanover Manor starting at 6:30 p.m., with a RSVP date of May 27.

In addition to Rafanello, the president and CEO of Eastern Janitorial, the following will also be honored:

  •        Pat Callahan, Colonel (Ret.), New Jersey State Police
  •        Emerson Crooks, Vice President, Board of Directors, Mental Health Association
  •        Rich Hoer, president & CEO, Lakeside Construction
  •        Thomas Mastrangelo, Commissioner, Morris County
  •        Pam O’Donnell, Founder, Catch You Later Foundation

The Morris County Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to those who exemplify in their daily life the ideals that Scouting America has expressed in the Scout Oath and Law for over 116 years.

They are chosen for their outstanding community service as evidenced by the interest and leadership they have given to many worthwhile organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.

Rafanello joined NJBIA’s Board of Trustees in 2024. He assumed full control of Eastern Janitorial in 2013 and re-branded it as a deeply experienced service contractor and quickly became a market leader in the region.

Rafanello lives in Morris County with his wife and three children. He is heavily involved in the local community, volunteering time on local economic development, soccer and baseball boards.
