A-3850 (DeAngelo, Eustace, Mazzeo, Pintor Marin, Benson, Turner, Singer)
Requires the state Board of Public Utilities to establish procedures to ensure that an electric utility customer can switch to a third-party provider within 30 days, and that gas utility customers can switch to a third-party provider by the next scheduled meter-reading date, provided their utility company receives an electronic enrollment notice at least 20 days prior to the next scheduled meter-reading date.
