The New Jersey Innovation and Research Fellowship Program (IRFP) research grants funds are provided to support technological research and the innovation ecosystem in New Jersey and to encourage Ph.D. candidates/graduates to continue their research in fellowship with New Jersey’s science and technology companies.
The IRFP grant monies must be used by the grantee employer primarily as salary to the fellow. Research fellowship grants can be issued for up to two years and must be used primarily for research and innovation.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
Research fellowship grants are provided to entities employing more than two individuals. The fellowships will be authorized on availability of funding and according to the discretion of the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
