Rider University’s Center for the Development of Leadership Skills seeks nominations for its Leadership Legacy Award to be presented to one local community member who has demonstrated excellence in leadership through service to others in both his or her professional and personal endeavors.

Laura Seplaki, associate director of Rider’s Center for the Development of Leadership Skills and director of the Leadership Development Program, said, “We are seeking nominations of individuals who can demonstrate impactful leadership contributions focused on service to others and society. Individuals should value team leadership and inclusiveness above individual leadership, and have mentored and prepared future leaders for the next generation.”

To nominate an individual for this award, please visit http://www.rider.edu/academics/colleges-schools/college-business-administration/center-development-leadership-skills/leadership-legacy-award/nomination. Nominations will be accepted through October 18, and nominees will be contacted by the CDLS and encouraged to apply.

Applications for the Leadership Legacy Award are due by November 1, 2019. A full set of criteria and an online application can be found here.

Top candidates for the award will be chosen to participate in a 30 minute interview with the selection committee in mid-November. Based upon the interview and the overall application, an award recipient will be determined and the award will be presented at New Jersey Business & Industry Association’s Public Policy Forum on December 6, 2019.

Questions about the award or application process can be directed to cdls@rider.edu.
