As part of NJBIA’s Member Action Center (MAC), credentialed Human Resource (HR) professionals can claim free recertification credits just by being NJBIA members.
Those looking to maintain their professional HR designations can qualify for recertification credits with both the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Under the HRCI recertification process, members can claim two credits a year as a result of their NJBIA membership. NJBIA members must be active for at least six months to begin redeeming the credits, and credits can be submitted under the “Professional Achievement/HR Membership” category.
For SHRM recertification, NJBIA members can claim three Professional Development Credits (PDCs) per year (as nine PDCs is the maximum per three-year recertification period). Credits can be submitted under “Professional Memberships” in the “Advance Your Profession” category.
