Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka was featured as a panelist in a recent NJ Spotlight/NJTV News virtual town hall “Reinventing NJ’s Economy for the COVID-19 age.”

As the discussion ranged from how businesses adjust to effectively accommodate the needed changes to their basic business models, Siekerka said it remains to be seen what a new normal means for New Jersey’s economy.

“The framework begins around the premise of ensuring that our recovery and reinvention is a sustainable one,” Siekerka said. “It is not going to mean anything if we just come back only to fail shortly thereafter.”

Siekerka was joined by NJEDA CEO Tim Sullivan, New Jersey Policy Perspective President and CEO Brandon McKoy and Johnstone Supply Head of Human Resources Christopher Geshickter for the hour-long discussion, which also visited how social justice dimensions ban be addressed during the economic recovery and how workers can re-enter the workforce.,
