NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka was recently named one of the Top 50 most influential people in South Jersey, according to South Jersey Biz magazine.
The annual “Power 50” list is an alphabetical ranking of people whom the magazine describes as the “movers and shakers who shape the way we do business in South Jersey.”
As the leader of the largest and most impactful association representing New Jersey businesses, Siekerka is known as a strong advocate for policies that will make the state more affordable and competitive so that businesses of all sizes can succeed.
For its 2022 Power 50 list, the magazine asked all the honorees to share insights for tomorrow’s leaders.
“The world continues to change at a pace that is daunting, at best,” Siekerka said. “You must approach each new day with that concept in mind because nothing is static anymore.
“Being able to assess the current situation and quickly adapt, lean in, and pivot is critical to being successful, respected and impactful,” Siekerka said. “Surround yourself with great people from whom you can gain a diversity of opinions and high-level thought leadership.”
