SobelCo, a regional provider of advisory, tax, and assurance services, has announced the addition of two new members to the firm’s management team.

Carolyn D’Anna, CPA, was named a Member of the Firm on July 1. D’Anna will focus on implementing the firm’s strategic plan with oversight of operations, technology, talent, growth, and client service. Her long history as a CPA and leading human resources at a Top 20 accounting firm prior to joining SobelCo has uniquely positioned her for success.

“I am proud to be admitted as a Member of the Firm and to play a key role in the management of SobleCo. I look forward to helping grow the firm with an exceptional group of professionals and bringing forth innovation to a rapidly changing firm,” said D’Anna.

D’Anna joined SobelCo in 2020 as the firm’s first Chief Operating Officer with a depth of experience spanning over 35 years as a leader in the accounting profession. Her unique combination of skills includes her technical excellence as a CPA and critical leadership skills that enable the firm to tap into her competencies for dealing with employees and clients.

Mary Ford, CPA, MST, was also named a Member of the Firm on July 1. She is responsible for leading SobelCo’s individual tax practice, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory, and ensuring our team is well trained and utilizing best-in-class procedures for the efficient delivery and value-added experiences of our clients.

“I am honored for the opportunity to be a key influencer in the SobelCo tax practice and serve as a resource for all clients while growing the careers of our team,” said Ford.

Ford joined SobelCo in 2018 after a career spanning the Big Four to small boutique firms. She is a seasoned professional known for assisting high-net-worth individuals with complex tax matters while addressing personal tax concerns for owners of small to mid-size businesses.
