The state agency tasked with assisting individuals with disabilities to find and maintain employment is asking New Jersey employers to take a brief online survey.

The New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services wants feedback from businesses as part of its efforts to develop its Comprehensive State Needs Assessment and State Plan to help boost employment opportunities for disabled individuals.

The NJDVRS 2022 Employer Survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

DVRS is also offering employers an opportunity to speak with a business outreach consultant after completing the survey. To ensure survey responses remain anonymous, there is a separate link within the survey to open a new online form to request a consultation.

NJBIA has been working with DVRS and other advocacy organizations for disabled individuals to inform employers about the benefits of a diversified, inclusive workforce as well as the best ways to find, onboard and retain workers with disabilities. Recent NJBIA events have highlighted information about the supportive assistance that job coaches provide disabled employees and the government tax credits available to employers.
