On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, New Jersey Council of County Colleges Vice President Catherine Fruge Starghill, The Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board Director Paul Grzella and Atlantic County Workforce Development Board Executive Director Fran Kuhn joined Bob Considine to discuss an innovative career development partnership between New Jersey’s 18 community colleges and our state’s workforce development boards.
“It’s a formal collaboration of the workforce development system statewide,” Starghill said. “The community colleges of course being the largest workforce development training providers in the state with the workforce development boards, regionally, that have the money, the funding, for training that connect the unemployed, under-employed, career changers to employment and other supports.
“So, really, the colleges and the workforce development boards together are the answer.”
NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” is a weekly TV show and the winner of nine Telly Awards over the past four years, including 2026 awards in the Government Affairs and General Health categories.
