On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, HINJ President and CEO Chrissy Buteas joined host Bob Considine to discuss how New Jersey’s biopharmaceutical and med tech companies represent an important part of both the state’s innovation and manufacturing economies.
“We are the folks that are manufacturing different medications; our med tech companies are specializing in providing different products such as hip and knee replacements and scaffolds for your eye. Think about the Band-Aid back developed here in New Jersey,” Buteas said.
“And so our companies, many of which are headquartered right here in the state of New Jersey, we're proud to be manufacturing and finding different treatments and cures for the patients, not only in New Jersey, but the United States and around the world.”
