On the latest episode of “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, NJ101.5 Senior Political Director and News Anchor Eric Scott joined Bob Considine to discuss his new nightly show “Jersey Thing,” the FY27 state budget, and the latest politics and policy developments in Trenton.
“[The show is] about celebrating New Jersey, it’s about putting the fun in our dysfunctional government, it’s about everything that we deal with in the Garden State and we try to break down some complicated issues in ways that people can understand,” Scott said.
“A lot of times it’s really difficult to understand how we got to where we are in New Jersey. So really, at its heart, a “Jersey Thing” is why is this a Jersey thing? Is there any way that we can fix it? Where are we going and why are we in a hand basket?”
NJBIA’s “Minding Your Business” is a weekly TV show and the winner of seven Telly Awards over the past three years, including a gold 2024 Telly in the Interview & Talk Show category. It airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
