On this past weekend’s “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, Bob Considine dropped in on Joe Chiarello, founder of XCamp in Seaside Heights, as part of the show's Shore Summer Series. XCamp has been providing surf instruction and access for nearly three decades.
“I still put my head down on my pillow at night, excited about the next day. How are the conditions gonna be? Are there gonna be fish if there aren’t waves? What am I gonna get to do?” Chiarello said.
“And that’s what we’re trying to kind of get that point across of make it a lifestyle, make it another alternative, fun, healthy activity that you might be doing when you’re 50 with your kids.”
