New Policies for the New Normal: Protecting Employees and Workplaces Amid COVID-19

Employee Leave – establishing parameters for individuals who contract or are exposed to COVID-19, as well as for those with children whose schools are closed
Telecommuting – identifying business needs and schedules, and also following EEOC guidance on reasonable accommodations
Containment – following CDC guidelines on promoting infection control and prevention, including the use of face coverings, and establishing workplace parameters for social distancing
Travel – determining whether and/or where travel may be restricted for employees
Health Screenings – establishing guidelines for how, where, when, by whom and to what extent employees will be screened for COVID-19 and/or its symptoms
