NJ Spotlight News’ Brenda Flanagan reported this week about the specter of employers mandating a proof of vaccination from staff, offset by concerns from employees who might feel that their privacy is being violated.
NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka said employers need to be sure of all the rules and exceptions when considering vaccination policies.
“The HR questions are consistently through the roof because it’s very, very difficult right now to manage the minefield of employer relations,” Siekerka said. “What could you mandate? What should you mandate?
“When you want to dot that last ‘i’ and cross the ‘t,’ give your lawyer a call and just check the box to say, ‘Hey are we OK with this?’
