Affordable Employee Training Exclusively for NJBIA Members LEARN MORE

Hi All,

I want to share with you a great opportunity to give back to the community AND get out of the office for a couple hours.

It’s called “A Day in BizTown,” a Junior Achievement program that allows 5th graders to simulate running banks, managing restaurants, writing checks and even voting for the mayor.

As a volunteer, you would staff one of the 14 store fronts the kids would be managing as their mini businesses. You will act as a mentor, giving the students the benefit of your experience and knowledge about the business world.

Best of all, you will be helping students connect the dots between what they learn in school and how it applies out in the real world.

The program includes lunch and a networking event afterwards.

The event is this Thursday, so if you’re interested you have to act fast. Visit www.njbia.org/events or email me if you have any questions.
